Singles quarterfinals day in Canberra at the ITF tennis tournament

On another perfect day for tennis in the nation’s capital of Canberra, it was quarterfinals day for the M25 and W25 singles tournament.

The top seed in the men’s event Dayne Kelly had lost yesterday in round two when he faced New Zealand’s Rubin Statham. The final score was 7-6(5), 1-6, 7-6(5).

The women’s top seed Arina Rodionova had a comfortable win in the quarterfinals. She defeated South Africa’s Zoe Kruger 6-2, 6-3.
