Jordan Thompson is into the CH125 Surbiton grass-court final where he will face USA’s world no. 81 Denis Kudla.

Jason Kubler has reached the final of the CH100 Little Rock tournament on hard courts, he faces Taiwan’s Wu Tung-Lin the world no. 248.

Kubler has continued a run of good form that goes back to late March when he won back-to-back M25 titles on clay in Canberra.

A semifinal at the CH80 in Zagreb was a step up and then Kubler qualified for the French Open main draw and won his first-round match before losing to the no. 10 seed Cameron Norrie in straight sets.

Kubler has reached the final after defeating Gonzalo Villanueva, Hiroki Moriya, (WC) Brandon Holt and (WC) Ben Shelton, all in straight sets.

Thompson has struggled to put together wins in 2022. His best effort was a quarterfinal at the ATP250 in Dallas.

In 2022 he has reached the final after defeating (LL) Marius Copil, (LL) Rankumar Ramanathan, Chris O’Connell and (Q) Otto Virtanen.
