Rain has delayed the second semifinal between Australia’s Petra Hule and China’s Wang Ya Fan.

Priscilla Hon got the better of Gadecki last week to claim her first title in Canberra.

The previous final was played in a heatwave, the weather this week is more like what would be experienced at the French Open.

Gadecki was in control of the match during the first set with two breaks of serve.

Japan’s Himeno Sakatsume immediately hit back in the second going up a break and holding on to the advantage to level at one set each.
