The American would hit back to send the match to a deciding third set.

Dart will be looking to keep the title in British hands after Katie Boulter won last year. The title was a 60k level event in 2023, it is now a more prestigious WTA125 event.

For the men the no. 1 seed Dominik Koepfer came from a set down against Canada’s Gabriel Diallo. The final score was 6-7(5), 7-5, 6-3.
