Adam Walton joins the top-100 after claiming Taipei CH75 title
Australia’s Adam Walton has won his third career ATP Challenger singles title to leap into the top-100. The title saw him reach no. 95 in the rankings.

The 25-year-old Queenslander defeated Ukraine’s Illya Marchenko 3-6, 6-2, 7-6(3) in the final. He defeated fellow Australian and the no. 2 seed, James Duckworth in the semifinals.
It was perfect timing for Walton as he now has direct acceptance into the Wimbledon tournament. He joins 8 other Aussie men’s players with direct entry. It will be Walton’s main-draw debut at Wimbledon.
Walton will first compete at his first French Open singles tournament after receiving a wildcard.
