Ash Barty was joined by Ajla Tomljanovic as they both advanced to round three of the Ladies tournament at Wimbledon.
On the men’s side there were wins for James Duckworth, Jordan Thompson and Nick Kyrgios.
Alex Bolt and Marc Polmans lost their matches.
Barty quickly moved into the third round after a 6-4, 6-3 victory over Russia’s Anna Blinkova.
Jordan Thompson made the most of his first ever round two appearance at Wimbledon. He had lost four straight first round matches from 2016-19.
Thompson defeated Kei Nishikori 7-5, 6-4, 5-7, 6-3.
James Duckworth has reached the third round at Wimbledon for the first time after he defeated Sam Querrey 7-5, 6-7(4), 6-3,6-2.
Kyrgios had a straight sets win on the back of a solid service performance when he defeated Gianluca Mager 7-6(7), 6-4, 6-4.

Kyrgios did not drop serve and he got a break of serve in the second and third sets to take the win.
For Marc Polmans it was an opportunity lost after he was defeated by Christian Garin 7-6(3), 6-2, 2-6, 7-6(5).
Polmans was serving for the first set before getting broken and he double faulted late in the fourth set tie-breaker to hand his opponent a match point.
Alex Bolt was not in the contest against Great Britain’s Cameron Norrie. Bolt losing 6-3, 6-1, 6-2.
